Check out some of englands finest jazz and fusion muso's and drummers. Ian Thomas, Jeremy Stacey and Mike Bradley share the credits on drums. Awesome players each one of them.
Dazzler is well aware of laurence cottle and has probably even played with him.

Not sure if it's jeremy stacey, ian thomas or mike bradley. I reckon it's jeremy stacey.
Ian thomas for sure on this one:

Hey Lee! Yep, this is great album, Laurence and I have played together many times and he's just incredible. He's originally from Wales and studied in Berkley. Check out his site as there are some great pics of him and Jaco hanging out in Central Park!
FYI, Ian Thomas is one of the busiest, if not THE busiest sessions drummers in the UK and has played with Michael Jackson (I think he's on his new album - there's a story in that one, but I won't tell until I have it confirmed!) Tom Jones, George Michael, Seal etc etc etc.
Jeremy Stacey has toured with Sheryl Crowe among others and is a great straight ahead drummer as well as a great groover.
One track on Laurences' album is called tsar-sass-anai. At first look this seems like some mystical Chinese title, but try saying it over and over, very quickly to find out it's REAL meaning!
Laurence is the most amazing arranger too and you HAVE to check out his big band, made up of the cream of British Session players.

Ohhh man, Ian Thomas is great! I really don't know anything about him other than I heard him on the soundtrack to Leaving Las Vegas and I always wondered who that drummer was (sounded very weckl meets vinnie) until I bought the CD.
If you have the DVD, put it on and let the main menu play out, the drumming is wicked.
I'll have to check out those other guys too. Do you have anymore info on Ian?
